They were driven forth from among men; they cried after them as after a thief,
They are driven forth from the midst of men; They cry after them as after a thief;
“They are driven from the community; They shout after them as after a thief.
They are driven from among men, who shout after them as after a thief.
They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
They were banished from human society; people shouted at them as if they were thieves.
People banish them from society, shout at them as if to a thief;
They are driven away from society, with men shouting after them as after a thief,
and they are run out of towns, as though they were thieves.
They are driven forth from among [men]—they cry after them as after a thief—
Who snatched up these things out of the valleys, and when they had found any of them, they ran to them with a cry.
They are forced away from other people, who shout at them as if they were thieves.
People chased them away from their towns, as if they were shouting at robbers.
They were driven out of the community. People shouted at them like thieves.
They are driven out from human company; they shout after them as after a thief.
They are driven out from human company; they shout after them as after a thief.

They were driven out from fellow people; they shout at them as at a thief,
having been driven from civilization. Men shouted after them as after thieves.
“But no longer. Now I’m the butt of their jokes— young thugs! whippersnappers! Why, I considered their fathers mere inexperienced pups. But they are worse than dogs—good for nothing, stray, mangy animals, Half-starved, scavenging the back alleys, howling at the moon; Homeless ragamuffins chewing on old bones and licking old tin cans; Outcasts from the community, cursed as dangerous delinquents. Nobody would put up with them; they were driven from the neighborhood. You could hear them out there at the edge of town, yelping and barking, huddled in junkyards, A gang of beggars and no-names, thrown out on their ears.
They were driven out from among men; they shout after them as after a thief.
They are driven from the community. People shout at them in the same way they shout at thieves.
They were banished from the community, with an outcry like that against a thief—
They are driven from the community; They shout against them as against a thief,

Cast out from human society and berated as thieves and pursued,
They were forced to live away from people; people shouted at them as if they were thieves.
They were banished from the community— people shouted at them as they would shout at thieves—
They were driven away from human society. They were shouted at as if they were robbers.
They were banished from human society, shouted at as if they were thieves.
They were banished from human society, shouted at as if they were thieves.
They were driven out from among men, They shouted at them as at a thief.
They are driven away from people. Men call out against them as if they were robbers.
They are driven from human society, and people shout at them as if they were thieves.

The which men ravished these things from great valleys; and when(ever) they had found any of all these things, they ran with (a) cry to them. (They were driven out from among men, who cried after them, as if they were thieves.)
